John Hailer's Successful Appointment to Global Partner's Board of Directors

Mr John T. Hailer stepped down as President and CEO of Natixis Investment Managers in 2016. Mr Hailer has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Global Partners LP (NYSE: GLP), the general partner of Global GP LLC. The start date of his new job is July 1, 2018.

Mr John Hailer is the President of 1251 Asset Management at 1251 Capital Group and is 57 years old. This financial services firm based in Boston owns several specialized asset management and insurance businesses.

Mr John T. Hailer spent more than 18 years at Natixis before joining 1251 Capital Group. He was a key part of Natixis’ strategic repositioning as a provider of global solutions and its growth into one of the largest asset managers during his tenure as President and Chief Executive Officer for the Americas and Asia.

Mr. Hailer’s Vast Experience in Financial Services

Mr John Hailer has a long history in the financial services industry. He was previously the head of retail business development for Natixis rival Putnam Investments and the point person for new business development in North and Latin America at Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company.

With a strong background in both capital markets and business, Mr. John Hailer will bring a fresh and insightful perspective to the Board, assisting us in further developing our growth strategies.”

Global GP LLC CEO Richard Slifka stated this. He is an excellent addition to the Board due to his background in capital markets and business. “We were also impressed by John’s history of community service.

This is important to us because we want to help the communities where our employees live and work. He has, for example, long worked with organizations such as the Children’s Trust, the Boston Public Library, and the Home for Little Wanderers.
