In June 1978, Bhanu Choudhrie was born in the Indian city of New Delhi. His efforts as a strategic investor, philanthropist and founder of C&C Alpha Group have boosted his career. Mr. Choudhrie is in charge of investments in the hotel and travel industries, real estate, healthcare, aviation, banking, and utilities. Bhanu Choudhrie, the founder of C&C Alpha Group, has developed investment strategies to help new and established businesses achieve their goals.

Mr. Choudhrie studied International Business and Marketing at Boston University. Mr. Choudhrie attended Harvard Business School after graduating from Boston University and was accepted into the Owner Management Program.

Mr. Choudhrie served on the Atlantic Coast Financial Corporation board before Ameris acquired it in May 2018. During his time at the company, he served on the Executive Committee, the Capital Committee, the Compensation Committee, the Audit Committee, and the Governance and Nominating Committee.

Bhanu Choudhrie has received numerous awards for his work as an entrepreneur and community member. Mr. Choudhrie won the Asian Voice Political and Public Life Award for Entrepreneur of the Year in the United Kingdom in 2008.
Bhanu Choudhrie has made numerous charitable contributions. He has been praised for his work with the non-profit Path to Success, whose mission is to assist low-income individuals who cannot afford to take their education for granted and are dealing with long-term health issues.
