Sudhir Choudhrie is a renowned philanthropist who loves to help the community around him in however way he can. Sudhir Choudhrie grew up in India, looking up to his mother as his role model. At an early age, he was diagnosed with a rare heart disease that caused his heart to skip a beat. However, he was a very determined child and never let this huddle in life prevent him from pursuing his dreams. After graduating, he worked for his grandfather’s real estate company, where he gained great entrepreneurial skills. The company grew considerably within a short period of time owing to Choudhrie’s experience in entrepreneurship. Sudhir Choudhrie’s condition worsened with time. Luckily, he found a compatible donor in 1999 from a young man in the United States. The surgery was conducted at Columbia University Medical Centre in New York. He later attended therapy to help him attain a full recovery. Sudhir Choudhrie notes that he has learned to take advantage of the second chance in life. Together with his family, they started his family’s charitable organization to support organ donors and recipients. Mr. Choudhrie has made numerous donations that are geared to foster proper healthcare and access to education.
